Goodman came up with the idea of "The Nest" after principal photography on "Conrad". With her passion for filmmaking, And her love for her production team she did not want it to stop. With a infectious drive for the arts, knowing she'd need more to justify the value of Conrad to networks, she sprung the idea and within a day, wrote the short for The Nest with a feature in mind.

Being highly motivated by the female in production movement, she and Jessica Heba Lawson (Co-Director), decided to hop on a train and move their story forward as two female directors in Chicago. With an ambitious drive to complete 20 pages in two days, success was made with their highly motivated crew. With a great cast and a great directing style, Jennifer focuses on character and story, with some camera angle ideas, while Jessica is more technical and creative on the camera front. Between the two of them, they made something great and we can't wait to see, The Nest come to life.
